  • To introduce players from other areas to the facilities at Kalgoorlie Golf Course
  • To create new relationships, and build on existing ones, with other golf clubs
  • To expose GGC Junior players to established junior players
  • To facilitate and nurture friendships between GGC juniors and other juniors
  • To provide inspiration to our Junior Players to be the best they can be
  • To have a goal for our Junior Players to work towards
  • To begin to create awareness of the Goldfield Junior Desert Open amongst the 400 kids involved in junior events and programs in WA clubs, and the 6,000 kids in WA who are introduced to golf via the MyGolf Schools program.
