Our annual Goldfields Golf Club Charity Golf Day was held on Sunday, 30th August in beautiful conditions. This year's event was held to support Hope Community Services and the Little Pantry. Our members raised a healthy $3000 and also filled 10 bags worth of groceries. Over the past 6 years the GGC has raised over $34,000 for local worthwhile charities.

A huge thank you to the Kalgoorlie Golf Course for donating the prizes, Lyndon Jones for the auction items and Graham Green for the use of his PA system. Members, played 18 holes of Stableford off the white and yellow tees.

The winners on the day were:

• 1st - Ken Harman (41 points)
• 2nd - Krystle Fitzpatrick (39 points)
• 3rd - Justin Moffatt (38 points) c/b 4th - Jeremy Lonsdale (38 points)
• 5th - Brad Salmon (36 points)
